Mobile Network & Device Management Tools (Avalanche MC)


Introduction

This class covers Wavelink’s Avalanche MC product and also includes a ½ day look at the Wavelink Emulation Software. Completion of the class, and the successful completion of the class exams, earns the student the “Wavelink Certified Professional” mark.

Description:

This course is designed to enhance technical knowledge of Wavelink’s Avalanche MC and Terminal Emulation Software. The course discusses the Wavelink architecture, which builds a foundation for the student to successfully install, configure, and provide Level 2 troubleshooting and maintenance of the products. Extensive hands-on experience is used to ensure a sound learning transfer and to bolster student knowledge and skills.

Intended Audience:

The course is designed for system or network engineers and help desk personnel who have the requisite technical background and require additional knowledge on Wavelink solutions.

Prerequisites:

To be eligible for this class, student must have working knowledge of TCP/IP protocol, have a working knowledge of radio frequency (RF) theory as it applies to Access Points and related mobile devices, have a basic understanding of the Wavelink product family and be able to install applications on Windows 2000/XP/2003 platforms.

Objectives:

At the end of this course, students will be able to design, install, configure and provide Level 2 troubleshooting and maintenance of Wavelink’s Avalanche MC 4.x product.
