Wavelink is seeking a seasoned Channel Marketing Specialist for its Midvale, UT office. Key responsibilities include assisting in the design, development and implementation of marketing and sales channel programs; public relations support, as well as providing project and general support for the marketing communications team.
Applicants should have experience working closely with an array of partners such as Value Added Resellers (VARs), distributors, and hardware manufacturers. The Channel Marketing Specialist will work closely with Wavelink’s partners and the marketing team to increase the effectiveness of these partners in promoting and selling Wavelink products.

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

- Strong interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in business or equivalent combination of education and work experienc
e
- 4+ years experience in a corporate marketing environment with a solid understanding of marketing principles
- Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Word and PowerPoint required; Adobe and basic knowledge of web-based applications preferred. Captivate and Salesforce.com experience a plus
- Demonstrated initiative and creativity in project work
- Excellent editing and proof reading skills for print and electronic media
- Knowledge of wireless technology and market space a plus
Job Specifications:
- Create sales presentation for use by partners
- Manage partner website
- Create partner program collateral
- Manage/track partner email campaigns
- Manage partner e-newsletter
- Manage/track partner sales leads
- Public Relations Support
- Assist in the development of marketing materials, including white papers, product sheets, presentation scripts, etc
- Other project/support duties as required
